Tobey Maguire  Tobias Vincent Maguire is an American Actor and Film Producer born in Santa Monica, California on the 27 June 1975. He is best known for his role as Peter Parker in the blockbuster Spider-Man film.

Tobey Maguire enjoys hitting the poker tables and especially enjoys the high-stakes games. He has landed himself in hot water with 22 other stars when they all participated in a series of illegal high stakes poker games hosted by hedge fund manager Brad Ruderman. However, it was newsworthy because it involved celebrities. After all, illegal high stakes poker games are nothing new.

1994 Molly Bloom, the author of the book Molly’s Game, was the organiser of the poker games at the infamous Viper Poker Room. Maguire often won big money at these poker games, playing alongside fellow actors like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. He won more than $300 000 in illegal games, and when it came to Ruderman’s games, Maguire was winning as much as a $1 million a month over three years. His estimated winnings meant he earned between $30-$40 million from these games.

Maguire started playing Tournament Poker in 2004 and has been coached by Daniel Negreanu, a Professional Poker Player.

However, Tobey Maguire’s professional career did not always make him a winner. He had run-ins with Charlize Theron and James Franco. He nearly lost his role in Spiderman 2 due to his obnoxious attitude, which he later apologised for.
